One facility

One private facility for the whole city

San Diego is a city of distinct neighborhoods, each with its own rhythm. Legacy is a single private training facility in the Sports Arena district of Point Loma, with 28 coaches and one-on-one or small-group coached sessions. Clients arrive from the coast, the canyons and the central neighborhoods alike.

The pages below describe each area and explain how training at Legacy fits the way people there tend to live and move. Legacy serves each of these communities. For the exact location, use the address above and your preferred map app.

If you are not sure which page applies to you, pick the closest one. The training itself is the same wherever you live; what changes is the context, such as whether your week revolves around the beach, the office, early starts or family. Each guide explains how coaching can be arranged around that, and every one ends in the same place: a free introduction with a coach who fits your goal.

Point Loma and the coast

Point Loma, Sunset Cliffs and Ocean Beach

Point Loma is home to the Sports Arena district where Legacy is based. The peninsula also includes the Sunset Cliffs coastline and, just north, Ocean Beach, known for its pier and relaxed beach culture. Surfers, walkers and dog owners in these areas often want strength and mobility work that supports an outdoor routine.

Start with the guide for your corner: personal trainer in Point Loma, personal trainer near Sunset Cliffs or personal trainer in Ocean Beach.

Bays and beaches

Mission Bay, Pacific Beach and La Jolla

Mission Bay is a large aquatic park with paths, water sports and open lawns. Pacific Beach is known for its boardwalk and beach lifestyle, and La Jolla for its cove, coastal paths and village. People here often run, paddle, swim or surf, and they bring those goals into training.

Read the guides for Mission Bay, Pacific Beach and La Jolla. La Jolla is also home to UC San Diego, and its pages cover options from prenatal to senior fitness.

Central San Diego

Hillcrest, Mission Hills, University Heights and North Park

These central neighborhoods sit around Balboa Park and the city's older residential streets. Hillcrest and North Park are known for their dining, arts and independent character, and Mission Hills and University Heights for their residential feel. Many people here have busy work lives and want a focused routine that fits in around them.

Pick your guide: Hillcrest, Mission Hills, University Heights or North Park.

Downtown and the valley

Little Italy, Mission Valley and Claremont

Little Italy is a well-known downtown district, and Mission Valley is a central corridor along the San Diego River. Claremont is a residential area north of Mission Valley. Many people in these areas fit training around work and value a plan that is efficient.
