Dacey's profile lists boxing & combat and functional & endurance as the main focus areas.
Skills and services the profile names: Boxing, Strength & Conditioning, Speed & Agility, and Cardiovascular Endurance.
Boxing and combat training teaches striking, footwork, defense and conditioning, either as a skill to pursue or as one of the hardest cardiovascular workouts available. Sessions combine technique, pad work and bag rounds with the stamina and coordination that carry over to any sport.
Stance, footwork, guard and basic punches are drilled until they are clean, before speed and power are layered on.
Timed rounds on pads and bags build rhythm, accuracy, endurance and the ability to stay relaxed under effort.
Roadwork-style intervals, core work and strength training support the skill work and keep sessions challenging.
Beginners start with non-contact drills. Any sparring is introduced gradually, with proper protective gear and clear rules.
Every plan is built around the individual, so your coach will adjust this. As a general shape, the first four weeks of boxing & combat coaching tend to run like this.
Stance, guard, footwork and the jab and cross, with plenty of repetition at low intensity.
Two- and three-punch combinations are added on pads and bags.
Slips, blocks and movement are layered in, with timed rounds that build stamina.
Longer combination work and conditioning rounds show how much technique and fitness have improved.
Functional and endurance training builds the capacity to move well and keep moving: carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing and holding a pace. It develops strength through full-body patterns and builds the aerobic base that makes both daily life and sport feel easier.
Movement patterns, not isolated muscles. Sessions are built from squats, hinges, pushes, pulls, carries and rotation, trained in ways that transfer to real life and sport.
A deliberate aerobic base. Easy, steady work and harder intervals are programmed on purpose, so conditioning improves without running you into the ground.
