Hey Fam, I’m Anthony Dain, a Jersey boy who made it to the west coast. I have nearly 10,000 group fitness classes coached and over 20 years of personal training and fitness experience, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others transform theirs. I’m the youngest of 6 kids where athletics and fitness were engrained at a young age. Health and fitness isn’t just what I do- it’s who I am.
My Background: I hold a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, NASM Certified, CPR/AED trained and I’ve spent the last decade leading group fitness and the past six years specializing in personal training. Throughout this journey, I’ve worked with thousands of individuals— each with unique goals, challenges, and dreams. My passion lies in turning those dreams into reality.
My Personal Approach: I specialize in strength training, HIIT, body recomposition, weight loss, injury prevention and building muscle. I have been able to work with up to 45 people in one class and able to give each individual their own personal experience. My resumé is backed by real-world results, experience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to create lasting change.
Why I Do What I Do: I believe in more than just workouts. I’m your coach, your accountability partner, and your biggest supporter. My mission is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and mindset to take control of your health, wellness, and lifestyle—for good. Whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up your routine, I meet you where you are and help bring your vision to life.
Let’s build something stronger—together.

Holistic and mindset coaching treats training as one part of a larger system that also includes sleep, stress, habits and the way you talk to yourself about progress. The aim is a routine you can keep up for years, not a six-week sprint that ends when motivation does.
The first conversation covers what you want your days to feel like, not only what you want your body to look like, and the program is built to serve both.
Coaching focuses on small, repeatable actions with clear triggers, so showing up becomes the default instead of a daily negotiation.
Intensity is matched to your stress and sleep that week. Hard weeks and easy weeks are planned, not guessed.
Regular check-ins keep you honest about what is working, and setbacks are treated as information to adjust around.
Every plan is built around the individual, so your coach will adjust this. As a general shape, the first four weeks of holistic & mindset coaching tend to run like this.
A conversation about what you want and what has gotten in the way before. Sessions begin gently so the first weeks feel doable.
Two or three small habits are chosen and attached to your existing routine, so they do not rely on willpower.
A busy or tired day shows what the plan can handle. Your coach adjusts the plan, not your expectations of yourself.
You look at what changed in energy, strength and consistency, and the next month is set from that.

No. Fitness coaches work on training, habits and accountability. They are not licensed mental health providers, and a good coach will say so and suggest a qualified professional when something is outside coaching scope.
That is the problem this style of coaching is built for. Your coach looks at why momentum drops, then shrinks the plan and adds accountability until consistency returns.
Your first introduction and session are free. Tell us a little about your goals and we will set it up with Anthony Dain at Del Mar.
